1. Out of Bounds (Rule 18-1)
    • Beyond the boundary fences.
    • Beyond the white posts with black tops and/or lines between such posts.
    • While playing the 15th hole, all areas of the 18th to and beyond the 18th tee and short of the 15th green outside of the white posts with black tops and/or lines between the posts.
    • The practice fairway as defined by the boundary fences on both sides. This includes a line that extends to the range lake and to the cart path. All areas inside these boundaries are Out Of Bounds including the practice putting green. The cart parking and the area defined by the black and white posts behind the 9th and 18th
  1. Abnormal Course Conditions – Including Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16-1)
    • Defined by white stakes, white ropes and/or white lines are deemed areas where play is Under Rule 16 the Ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point, no closer to the hole.
    • Water erosion marks in bunkers.
    • Clearly defined wheel marks on closely mown area (fairway)
    • All bare patches on closely mown areas (fairway)
    • Tree roots on closely mown areas ONLY (fairway)
    • Irrigation trenches on closely mown areas ONLY (fairway)
    • Garden Beds – Ornamental garden beds on tee blocks ONLY.
    • Hazard stakes, Tee Markers, Safety Screens, Sprinkler Control Boxes, Drainage grates and pipes, Sprinklers, Sand Bins, Fixed Rubbish Bins, 135m & 200m Markers, Power Poles and Fittings.
    • Cart Paths.
    • Embedded Ball (Rule 16-3)
  1. Movable Obstructions (Rule 15.2) & Loose Impediments (Rule 15.1)
    • Bunkers – Loose Impediments (stones, leaves etc)
    • Greenkeepers hoops and protective tapes and ropes.
  1. Penalty Areas (Water Hazards) (Rule 17.1d)
  • Yellow Penalty Areas – 2 Options with 1 Penalty Stroke.

i) Penalty of Stroke & Distance play a ball where the last stroke was made.

ii) The player may take relief under 1 stroke by taking the ball back in line with the Pin and where the ball last crossed the edge of the Yellow Penalty area. No limit to how far back on the line of the reference point.

  • Red Penalty Areas – 3 Options with 1 Penalty Stroke.

i) Penalty of Stroke & Distance play a ball where the last stroke was made.

ii) The player may take relief under 1 stroke by taking the ball back in line with the Pin and where the ball last crossed the edge of the Red Penalty area. No limit to how far back on the line of the reference point.

        iii) The Player may take relief from where the ball last crossed the Red Penalty Area of 2 club lengths no nearer the hole.

  1. Overhead Wires – If a ball in play strikes an overhead power line, the stroke MUST be replayed without Penalty. Applies to wires only as the power poles are immovable obstructions.
  2. Safety Screens on 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, should the ball come to rest in such a position that the screen intervenes with line of sight, the player may lift, clean and drop a ball at the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole. The Bougainvillea is not an extension of the screen on the 11th.
  3. Temporary or Local Rules – Temporary or additional local rules will be displayed on the notice board.
  4. Penalty for Breach of Local Rules – Stroke Play – 2 Strokes, Match Play – Loss of Hole

Distance Markers are 135 and 200 meters to the centre of the green.

 

NO PLAY RULE: LOCAL RULE – NO PLAY ZONES

DUE TO THE LOGAN CITY COUNCIL REJUVENATION PROGRAM THE HAZARD IN FRONT OF THE 4TH GREEN IS A NO PLAY ZONE..

UNDER RULE 17.1e – RELIEF MUST BE TAKEN IN NO PLAY ZONE IN A PENALTY AREA.

THE PLAYER MUST TAKE PENALTY RELIEF UNDER RULE 17.1d or 17.2

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD A PLAYER PLAY WITHIN THIS NO PLAY ZONE.

  1. All “Social Play” from White Markers.
  2. Beyond the Black and White post are “Out of Bounds”.
  3. No entry or playing from Residence Properties.
  4. Keep Carts 10 meters from all greens and off the tee areas
  5. Carts must not be driven by any person under the age of 18 years.
  6. Range Balls not prohibited on the course.
  7. Distance markers 135M & 200M to the centre of the Green
